My Healthy Version of Apple Crumble

 

Ingredients:

  • Apple
  • Coconut oil or some water
  • Homemade oats and nut/seed mix (this is the crumble)
  • Greek Yoghurt/ coconut Yoghurt
  • coconut flakes
  • Scoop of protein powder (only additional if you want to add extra protein)

Method:

  • Cut the Apple up in small pieces and place into a microwaveable cup or bowl.
  • Add in a teaspoon of coconut oil or a little bit of water to cover the Apple.
  • Microwave the Apple for 1 min and then stir. Repeat this until Apple is tender.
  • Then let it rest for a minute or so whilst you prepare the topping.
  • In a different bowl mix the Yoghurt and the Protein Powder together (optional), then stir through the Oats and Nuts mix.
  • Place this on top of the boiled Apple and sprinkle with some Coconut flakes.
